Who We Are

The Galaxy Tech. Foundation, established as a non-profit organization on December 3, 2019, is a private initiative dedicated to advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in rural communities, particularly in Gomoa West and Effutu Municipalities in the Central Region of Ghana, Africa. 

Recognizing the pivotal role of STEM Education in human development, we are driven by the belief that fostering knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics can catalyze inventions and discoveries crucial for the meaningful growth of our nation.

Our commitment extends beyond theoretical ideals to practical implementation. We are actively engaged in developing, testing, and replicating sustainable models and methodologies that leverage technology to enhance educational outcomes, increase access to education, and promote cultural understanding. 

Aligned with our mission, we concentrate our efforts in three primary areas: STEM Education, Mentorship focusing on Culture and Identity, and Entrepreneurship/Innovation. Unifying these focus areas is our Research and Policy Advocacy Program, demonstrating our holistic approach to driving positive change in education and societal development.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Must be a Ghanaian aged 8 – 14 years
  • Must live around the BlueRose Estate at Kasoa, Buduburam
  • Must be available for the full duration of the course.
  • Must submit the following:              

i. Complete an online registration with parents consent

ii. Report Cards for the last academic year

What we do

Galaxy Tech. Foundation (NGO) would provide STEM Education separated into Introductory Courses, Core Courses, and Additional Courses. Which every student would have to go through in order to have one (1) practical hands-on experience. The advantages of STEM education are such that our pupils would gain greatly in terms of acquiring skills and creative ideas.
STEM Education​
Our mentorship program pairs young people (called mentees) with community volunteers (called mentors), who provide support and motivation to help kids grow into the people they want to be, enhance their performance, and acquire new skills. Throughout the course of their program, the mentor-mentee match will remain in contact.

Mentorship Development
Teaching children entrepreneurship is about fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and ensuring that students learn skills essential to success in the 21st century digital economy. Educating children about entrepreneurship from a young age is beneficial and appropriate when the perception is that most of the qualities of the entrepreneur can be obtained.
